The Metropole Hotel is ideally situated a few hundred yards from St. Helier's shops, and a few minutes walk from the beach at Harve des Pas and the colourful Howard Davis Park.
Situated adjacent to the Reception, the Lounge Bar is an ideal place to meet with friends, enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or just simply spend time relaxing. The bar is open throughout the day serving drinks, teas, coffees & snacks. Breakfast and dinner are served daily in Metropole's spacious Dining Room. Special diet or a la carte menus can be provided on request and children are not forgotten - there is a menu specially for them. The hotel offers both an indoor and outdoor pool so that, irrespective of the weather, guests will never miss the oppotunity to enjoy a swim. For the health conscious, the gymnasium provides seven independent weight stations and three independent aerobic machines to ensure a full body work out. After a swim or work out nothing helps you to unwind better than relaxing in the jacuzzi or the steam bath, both adjacent to the indoor swimming pool. Surrounding the outdoor pool in a sheltered sun trap you will find the pool side terrace and garden area, providing the ideal spot to lounge around during those long hot summer days whilst the children play safely in their own paddling pool.
Entertainment is an important part of any holiday, which is why the Metropole hotel provides 2 cabarets each week, discos, bingo, dancing and party nights (Summer Season Only). Children are not forgotten either. The hotel has a fully equipped games room including the most-up-to date video games, pinball machines and pool tables. The hotel also boasts it's own little soft play area for the toddlers. During the height of the season a 'Kids Klub' is organised by the resident entertainers with all sorts of activities for children between the ages of 5-11, giving Mum and Dad an opportunity to enjoy a well earned rest.
All bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated, with added comfort of colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. (Baby sitting can also be arranged).
